Good evening dearest family, friends, colleagues, and general acquaintances.
If you've come this far, you are likely well aware that my lovely wife, Renee Leanne Hovanic, and myself, Christopher Allen Hovanic have extensively planned, and will soon be embarking on a fantastic and grandiose trip to Europe! This journey will take us through London, Paris, Munich, and into the highest reaches of the Swiss Alps. Along the way we'll be attending several football (soccer) matches, visiting numerous English pubs and Bavarian beer gardens, partaking in the French art of gastronomy, and of course seeing all the usual (and some not so usual) tourist attractions. Our travels will also take us into villages of Switzerland where cars don't exist, and cows still wear bells. We depart Fargo, ND tomorrow (Wednesday) evening, flying to Chicago, IL, and then taking the late evening/overnight flight to London. The impressive Boeing-777 we'll be flying 'across the Pond' in is slated to arrive at London Heathrow Airport around 11:30am British Standard Time on Thursday (4:30AM PDT, 5:30am MDT, 6:30am CDT and 7:30am PDT for all you of back in the good ole' USA). We cordially invite all of you fine individuals out there to "virtually" join us on this fantastic voyage over the next several weeks! The general idea is to try and post one blog entry per day, as well as any noteworthy photographs from the day's travels.
